Compared to Vortex, Eaconn is a lesser-known company. But their 20-60×80 spotting scope deserves your attention. This is not as expensive as the Vortex Razor HD.
This one also comes with HD lenses. I know they are not as good as Razor lenses. But with fully multi-coating, these lenses become beast at hunting.
The clarity and color contrast is on point. With a generous amount of field of view, you can spot an animal from miles away.
At 60X magnification the distortion on the scope is not that high. It’s tolerable and quite low compared to a lot of budget offerings.

4. Athlon Argos HD 20-60x85 Spotting Scope
Athlon is a top of the line scope manufacturer. Argos HD is available in both angled and straight setup. This is not a cheap scope. It’s not crazy expensive either. You can say it’s somewhere in between.
Argos uses fully multi-coated HD lenses. This scope has a large objective lens. The lens diameter is 85mm. That big of a lens transmits quite a bit of light. Thanks to that, the performance of this scope is quite good too. Even at 60x magnification, you won’t notice any glares or distortion.
Even though the name of this scope rhymes with argon, Athlon decided to use nitrogen to purge the inside of the scope. Without nitrogen or argon purging, you can’t make a completely fogproof scope.
O-ring sealings are not present here either. Even without O-ring sealing Athlon did a great job to make this scope waterproof.
With that incredible magnification and sharpness, it’s definitely one of the best spotting scopes for hunting out there. Just make sure to get a third party tripod to use the scope more comfortably.
5. CREATIVE XP 20-60x80 Spotting Scope

6. Landove 20-60x65 Spotting Scope
This is the second from Landove on the list today. This scope is unique from the other in terms of the phone mount. This unusual phone mount is super effective. But we are here to talk about how well it performs in hunting.
To make a good hunting spotting scope, you need to have water and fogproof. If the scope is built like a tank, that’s a bonus.
This scope from Landove is both water and fogproof. To make the scope fogproof, the inside of the scope is nitrogen purged. Thanks to that, there won’t be any fog going inside the scope. As the scope is waterproof, no water or moisture will go inside the scope either.
This makes it an ideal companion for a winter hunt. The BaK4 prism and all other lenses are fully multi-coated. Making them completely immune to any kind of glare and reflection.
Even at high magnification, there wasn’t any noise or distortion in the pictures. The color remains vibrant. The picture clarity was good too.

7. Emarth 20-60x60AE Angled Spotting Scope
Emarth is another spotting scope that is well-loved by the community. If you have searched for a spotting scope anywhere, chances are you have come across this spotting scope before.
If you haven’t, you are about to. Emarth is not an expensive spotting scope. As a matter of fact, this is the cheapest scope on the list today.
Emarth is a 60×60 scope. That means it can magnify up to 60x and the objective lens of this scope is 60mm. Many scopes offer an 80mm objective lens with 60x magnification.
But if you can provide a good quality glass with multiple layers of coating. Then a 60mm objective lens will be more than enough.
That’s exactly what Emarth did. They used lead-free glass and coated it with anti-glare coatings. Making the lens less reflective and more effective.
The magnification ring is placed on the angled eyepiece. On the top side of the barrel, you will see a small knob. That is the focus control knob. You can use that to focus on an object from a far away.
Emarth makes their own aluminum tripods. But sadly you won’t get that for free. As you need a tripod, my suggestion is to get it from Emarth.
8. Celestron – Ultima 80 Angled Spotting Scope
Ultima 80 from Celestron is one of the best spotting scopes on the market. What is ultima best at? Everything! No, I am not exaggerating. It’s one of the best prices to performance spotting scope you will ever find.
This scope is capable of doing hunting, astronomy (stargazing), digiscoping, birdwatching. Talk about being an all-rounder. Ultima is available in many different angles. Ultima is also available in a straight version if you guys want that.
This scope is huge. Using a tripod is a must with this scope. Or else, you might run into issues carrying this. Unfortunately, you won’t get a tripod for free with this scope. You need to buy one.
The lenses of this scope are fully multi-coated. They are so high quality, you can do light astronomy with this scope.
If you need a bigger objective lens, you can always go for the one with a 100mm objective lens. With a lens that big you can gather light for days.
For me, the 20-60×80 is the best. It’s the perfect balance between huge size and portability. It’s one great scope for hunting that’s for sure.
9. Gosky 20-60x80 Dual Focusing Spotting Scope
Gosky Newest 20-60×80 is the upgraded version of their spotting scope. This time they improved the coating and internal layout. Making the scope even better at hunting and target shooting.
There is a rubber armor coating around the body to protect it from any accident. The coating is not that thick. But it has a nice texture to grab on to.
For a brighter and clear image, Gosky used an 80mm objective lens in their scope. The lens is fully multi-coated. Among those coating, anti-glare and reflection coating are also present. If a scope suffers from a glaring issue, it becomes annoying to use that. Gosky made sure you don’t face that issue at all.
The inside of this waterproof housing is nitrogen purged. Making this scope both water and fogproof.
One of the key features of this scope is the dual focus system. Like most other scopes, the magnification ring is built on the eyepiece. To use the focus of the scope, you need to come down a bit. Right above the mounting plate, you will see a small knob with two adjustment rings.
You can use that knob to adjust your focus. You can focus on two objects at the same time. Meaning you can see the foreground and background without any issue.
This scope does come with a new and improved phone mount. You can digiscope with this scope out of the box. For better stability please buy a tripod. Tripod is necessary for a spotting scope.

This is also one of the cheapest spotting scopes on the market. You should know by now, we don’t feature a scope just because it’s cheap. It needs to be good and have a good track record to be on the best list.
Emarth has managed to do that. From their previous scope on the list, you already know Emarth is a crowd favorite brand. To live up to their expectations, Emarth made this scope quite durable and packed some goodies with it.
Let’s start with the features. They used the BaK4 prism. The BaK4 prism is coated with multiple layers of anti-reflection coating. The rest of the lenses on this scope are also multi-coated.
The cost would have been a lot higher if they were to fully multi-coat the lenses. The housing of this scope is waterproof. On top of the housing, they used a rubber armor coating to further strengthen the structure.
